4rd Workshop: The Output of R&D activities: Harnessing the Power of Patents Data

24-25 May 2012 – IPTS (Seville, Spain)

This 4th annual workshop on “The Output of R&D activities: Harnessing the Power of Patents Data” aimed at improving the understanding of the patent system, focusing on patent system design, empirical analysis, methodology, and the use of the PATSTAT database. Following the successful format of the three previous years, the workshop was thus an arena for the discussion of the state of the art of research on patents and evidence-based policy making.
